Hi! I’m Vivian.

A bit about myself.

I was born & raised in Michigan (from Grand Rapids) and recently graduated from the University of Michigan where I studied UX Design. I am currently returning this academic year to pursue an accelerated Master’s in UX Design & Research at the School of Information. Go Blue!

My education at UMich has included courses in everything from product design, web development, automotive design, e-commerce experiences, and user experience best practices.

My journey and where it all started.

My interest in UX grew out of my experiences at the intersection of healthcare and technology. Looking at the processes and overall inefficiencies for patients, I became curious about how I could improve those aspects of daily life for people.

I always wished to tap into my creative instincts and UX was the perfect way to bridge my skills in research to help inform meaningful designs.

Let’s connect!

I would love connect and chat about my experiences, all things Seventeen (right here), and drinking CHAIII (lately with a shot of espresso).

Feel free to ping me on LinkedIn or send a message by email. Looking forward to connect with you soon :)

Currently.

I recently finished an internship at Amway, working on their design system and reimagining an income calculator experience as a Digital Product Design Intern (check out my work)!

As I start my Masters, I will be involved in CLAWS (Collaborative Lab for Advancing Work in Space) as a UX Designer in the AR/VR space to help improve my skills in all things design systems and user-centered research for astronauts at NASA!

I am also a Research Assistant, under Dr. Sun Young Park, working on a paper that outlines novel technology interventions for patient care in the emergency department.

As I continue to learn Korean, my love for KR&B grows more everyday…checkout these songs!

Finding inspiration in art museums has become one of my favorite experiences.
